The North Canyon High School Marching Band, known as the "Stars Of The North", are one of the most recognized and respected groups in Arizona. With over 70 members, the band performs at football games, 4 contests per season and various school and community functions. The "Stars Of The North" truly stand out among the elite groups at any festival they attend.

The Symphonic Band performs some of the finest and most challenging literature at All-Area Concert Band Festival and at the Spring Concert. The Concert Band performs at the annual Winter Concert, All--Area Concert Band Festival and at the Spring Concert. The Prep Band performs at the Winter and Spring Concerts. Many students are involved in multiple ensembles. jazz Band will resume next school year as a curricular class. The Jazz band will perform a wide variety of jazz literature and will focus on the craft of improvisations. The Jazz band will gig throughout the school district, community, as well as festivals around the state.
